Alaska Explorer is a professional bike mechanic, cross-country & downhill mountain bike racer, and accomplished Alaskan winter traveler, having been born in Alaska and living here most of his life.
I've guided various forms of backcountry wilderness trips, have tons of Alaskan backcountry experience, managed an outdoor gear rental & tripping business for the University of Wisconsin, and have ridden and raced hundreds of miles in Alaska on dirt and snow.
